Michael Lomman is an experienced senior consultant and engineer with a strong background in Information Systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems and Plant Automation. He has over 12 years experience in key roles within mining and manufacturing based technology companies.

Michael has held a number of technical based roles in the mining industry since graduating in 1997 from Curtin university and is a Member of the Institute of Engineers Australia. The combination of engineering and management experience gives him the ability to understand both the technical and business needs of the customer.

Prior to joining OpX Solutions as General Manager, Michael headed operations for Calibre Controls, a technology focused business unit of Calibre Global, a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy (EPCM Company). The company successfully executed numerous consulting studies and large projects providing improvements to customer's business by increasing production and operational effectiveness.

As the Operations Manager Michael grew and developed the business with particular focus on the creation of the project delivery and MES consulting business. Over a three year period, the business grew from a starting point of 8 engineers to 73 personnel, including numerous consultants, project managers, project engineers, engineers and services personnel.
